As a professional who works with children, you know you can learn so much about their health and wellness simply by watching their smiles. Unfortunately, many Minnesota children struggle with their smiles because their families face barriers to dental care. That is why, for the tenth year, the Minnesota Dental Association is coordinating a statewide charitable program called Give Kids a Smile. The dates are Friday, Feb. 3, and Saturday, Feb. 4.

COLD WEATHER The weather is becoming colder and elementary students will be outside for recess and other free time activities if the temperature is zero or above. Please dress your children accordingly for the cold weather. Reminder - we have a very active District Wellness Committee - if you have thoughts, suggestions or input on how we can best care for and promote health, wellness, nutrition, and activity for our children, staff, families and community - please contact Sarah Ellena.
