Cloquet Community Education and Recreation promotes, provides, and facilitates learning opportunities and social activities to serve all individuals & families, while bridging generations, inspiring collaboration and building community.

Events:
MinnAqua Ice Fishing Day - Take a Kid Ice Fishing!
We'll take a close look at what is living under the ice, make your own jiggle stick and practice safety on the ice with a DNR MinnAqua Education Specialist. Fishing is catch and release. Dress appropriately; on lake for at least one hour.  Waiver must be completed by parent/guardian. Parents/guardians are required to attend. This is also Take a Kid Ice Fishing weekend. Parents can fish for free all weekend accompanied by their children.

Easter Egg Hunt in Pine Valley
Saturday, April 7, 10 - 11 am (or until eggs are gone)
No cost for hunting eggs.  3,000 candy filled eggs will be hidden, plus special GOLDEN EGGS too with big prizes!
Ages 1 - 5 start at 10 am.  Ages 6 - 12 start at 10:15 am.
Rules:  Children may use an Easter basket to collect eggs, No containers/bags allowed. All plastic eggs must be taken with you.  Bring your camera - the Easter Bunny will pose with your little ones!
Pancake Breakfast!
Eat breakfast before your kids hunt for eggs. 7:30 - 10:30 am at the Cloquet Senior Center located next to Pine Valley Park. $5/person (4 and under free).  Pancakes, sausage, juice/coffee served by the Skateboard Club. All proceeds go for a new skatepark in Cloquet.


  Facilities:  Reserve space at a park or in a school building
View school building use, all school calendar, and city park use with the Facility scheduler calendar.  Make a reservation online by filling out the forms on the  Facilities Request Page or just click either Building Request form  or Park Request Form which will bring you directly to the form. You may also print out the forms located below and send it in to Community Ed.

Weather Cancellation Policy
If Cloquet Schools are cancelled Community Education offerings are also cancelled. Cancellations due to bad weather will be announced on WKLK 96.5 FM, 1230 AM

 Early Childhood Screening 
 Early Childhood Screening is quick, simple, fun and FREE! Remember, it's a state mandate that all children attend prior to kindergarten, preferably around their fourth birthday.
